Quinto Ciclo de Piano –Ceac
The Piano Season at the Artistic and Cultural Extension Center of University of Chile is organized by Chilean pianist Luis Alberto Latorre. The 2022 version of the Season featured a rich array of contemporary music.
Photographs of the inside of the Steinway piano at the university theater, in combination with the experimental type Nan (Future Fonts), helped to evoke the abstract character of the extraordinary music by Bartók, Schoenberg, Ives, Messiaen or Ligeti.
On the cover of the music program and on the theater posters, a pattern of thin lines resonates with this special repertoire of contemporary music, rarely interpreted even in the most important cultural centers in the world.
El Ciclo de Piano del Centro de Extensión Artística y Cultural de la Universidad de Chile es organizado por el pianista chileno Luis Alberto Latorre. En esta quinta versión (2022) el ciclo ofreció una especial y rica selección de música contemporánea.
Las fotografías del interior del piano Steinway en el teatro de la universidad, en combinación con la tipografía Nan (Future Fonts) ayudan a evocar el carácter abstracto de la música de Bartók, Schoenberg, Ives, Messiaen o Ligeti.
En la portada del programa de música y los carteles en el teatro, el patrón de líneas finas también busca resonar con el fino repertorio de música contemporánea rara vez interpretada, incluso en los grandes centros culturales en el mundo.
